We provide care and support services to individuals with an acquired brain injury. We offer 24 hour supported accommodation.  Our 24hr supported housing accommodation living scheme is across the UK.

At Macadamia Support Ltd, we will dedicate ourselves to understanding your unique needs, providing specialist support as we become partners on your journey towards greater independence.

We offer an intensive and individualised brain injury rehabilitation programme, which helps everyone to maximise their potential through the redevelopment of impaired skills and abilities.  Where necessary, specialist neurological therapies are also provided as part of the care package.  Our customers can access neurophysiotherapy, neurological occupational therapy, psychotherapy, exercise therapy and complimentary therapy.

All our services are focused on the Person-Centred Approach.  This means we aim to establish the most holistic and appropriate range of care and support is provided. Hence everyone’s care and support plan will help them to identify their goals which encompass their social, psychological, spiritual, physical, cultural, educational, and dietary needs. Throughout their placement, individuals are always empowered to identify the areas to work on and what they want to achieve from the care and support provided.  We strive to improve an individual’s quality of life and to help them realise any areas where independence can be gained.

We have dedicated and specialist teams which are highly experienced in providing brain injury rehabilitation and community supported living. With our in-depth understanding of acquired brain injuries, we carefully tailor our support to meet the needs of everyone based on their type of injury and throughout all stages of their recovery journey.

Through our community teams we can arrange physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy, helping to regain everyday skills such as washing and dressing. For those with milder conditions, further along in their recovery or simply seeking to build their independence, we put the focus on maintaining quality of life and opening opportunities in the community; supporting with everyday tasks such as using public transport, shopping trips and also offering advice and help with starting volunteer or work placements.

Each person’s support plan is unique to them because their condition is too. Before we create a plan, we take the time to get to know each person, to hear their story so far and gain an understanding of the right approach for the short, medium, and long term. We will always make sure to involve those who are important to the person, their support network and relevant care professionals in these conversations, giving everyone the opportunity to voice their needs, preferences and wishes, ensuring our approach is co-created.
